20+ Years of Experience

I could have filled this page with photos of me working with glass, but I thought I'd share my daughters instead.

My name is Joel Allen, owner of Glass Solutions Northwest. Family is a big part of why I do what I do, and serving our local community means a lot to me.

With more than 20 years in the glass industry and deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, I take pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional attention to detail.

For me, it's never just about replacing a piece of glass. My goal is to work alongside each customer to find the best solution for their home or business. I believe in taking the time to understand your needs, answer your questions, and create a plan that leaves you confident in the result.

Every project is an opportunity to build trust, provide excellent service, and ensure you're completely satisfied with the finished product.

Sound Project Example

These bedroom windows had failed seals and faced a busy, high-traffic road.

The homeowner wanted to restore the windows while also reducing outside noise. After reviewing the options, I recommended Low-E laminated glass, which improved energy efficiency and reduced sound levels from approximately 42 decibels to 32 decibels.

By replacing only the glass rather than the entire window unit, we achieved a quieter, more comfortable space with minimal installation time and a significantly lower cost. Finding practical, long-term solutions like this is what I strive for on every project.

These living room windows in the Arch Project Example had failed seals, causing them to become fogged and lose their clarity.

I worked closely with the homeowner to not only restore the windows, but also explore ways to improve their overall appearance and efficiency. Together, we selected an updated grid design and upgraded to Low-E energy-efficient glass. This type of glass helps keep homes cooler during the summer months, retains heat during the winter, and can improve overall comfort and energy performance year-round.

For me, every project is an opportunity to find the best long-term solution, not just replace the glass.
